SURF Presentation to Periurban Parks Seminar

A presentation on urban fringe policy recommendations, being developed as part of the Sustainable Urban Fringes (SURF) project, was made to delegates attending a meeting of the Periurban Parks Project, on 3 February 2012.

The policy recommendations will be highlighted at the Sustainable Urban Fringes Final Conference which is set to take place in June later this year. They are being devoloped from information gathered from the project research programme and reflect the learning uncovered from the practical urban fringe work of project partners.

At the meeting SURF was able to learn more about the Periurban Parks project and meet representatives from the Euroscapes project and Errin (European Regions Research and Innovation Network).
